Clean Out Phase Continues

After the initial clean out - we found rotten wood in the front under the couch.  We knew from driving her home - that she had some issues in the tongue area.  We set out to clean that part of her up.

My partner in crime, is my Dad (aka Gramp - to my kids, and Dobby to us (the most loyal house elf in Harry Potter - my Dad is a lot like him in that he would do anything for us...just have to ask.  "Dobby" will be his 'call sign' on the blog).  Dobby has years and years of experience in vehicle restoration.  When he was 12 years old - he started building his own hot rod.  He's had lots of vehicles and boats along the way and he knows his way around bondo, epoxy, and rivets to say the least.  When Rob bought a little Ace camper on ebay that had been crushed by a tree - Dobby fixed her right up and made her as good as new!

Dobby was right there that day we started to poke around the Caravanner's front end.  He's not afraid of the yuck...which was good - because we came across some fantastic (:P not) mice motels between the floor and the belly pan.  Dobby came to NOT be a fan of the belly pan.  Here are the photos as the clean out phase continues:

Starting to pull up the floor.

Uncovered some trouble spots in frame around the tongue area.

The "Nimbus" broom is relegated to picking up the mice motels.  It's an admirable but nasty job.

This is Teddy - my oldest - he's helping too!
