We made it through baseball season - 3 kids, 6 teams, running a league, hosting a tournament!
We went to the NH Motor Speedway to pick up the Airstream on July 1st. We did up the bill of sale with Rick and got her registered at City Hall. (They let us change the registration - so she is now officially, on paper, a 1956!)
My first loyal Camper Elves, Rob and my Dad, came with me to bring her home!
On a previous trip home with Rick - she fell off the ball and bent her tongue. She looked nice and straight as she sat there on her blocks - so we thought "No problem" getting her home. We hooked her up to Rob's GMC, her tires were good - seemed to pull fine. We got her out of the track and took the back way home. Got a "thumbs up" from a motorcyclist on the way!
We backed her into the driveway and got out to check the straightness - and realized her tongue was bent up to heaven. Anyways - I didn't even take a picture of it - I was too thankful she made it home without breaking and we just wanted to get her secured in the driveway. Lucky, lucky....
The project begins.... Yay!!
